Food Rescuers are not volunteers, but paid contractors.
Replate’s Food Rescuers are contracted drivers who perform the day-to-day work of our food rescue, which consists of collecting surplus food and delivering it to our nonprofit partners or directly to people’s homes. Food Rescuers are Replate’s ambassadors on the ground. Their dedication to our mission and impeccable customer service make them highly valued members of our team.
Food Rescuers work part-time, the majority of which is 12pm-5pm Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for morning, late night, and weekend hours. As a food rescuer you’ll receive a rough schedule the day before.
